" ... The insignificant reinforcer - tool of classroom or office now given its own polo minted freshness & obviousness. Rows of zeroes no longer consigned to the margin. Eye-eye! Naughtiness & (un)balanced sheets. O,o,o ... the absurdity of buying pages of ... holes ... !"

High winds & rain lashing Belgium today. What better to do than batten down the hatches, go upstairs and make a book?

Here's a first attempt at Japanese side-stitch binding and distressed papers. I'm reasonably pleased with the result (ham-fisted as I am). It's labour intensive, though - this one will be limited to an edition of six.

... said Valery - or something like that.

If so, then here is the result. After a rather idle, distracted & unfocused week an 'occasional' volume of pwoermds (or plain fresh spun puns) by way of a response (diagnosis?) of Geof Huth's "condition" as described in his Blog on the 10th August. The first of the fullcrumb horseries ...

Copies going out to the usual suspects ... anyone else?

Fresh off the press!

Wri.the - a little volume of asemic writings.

The first attempt at printing on fine paper - and my scanner doesn't like the grey tone of the cover. So these photos are done with Photo Booth. And badly at that.

A new experiment in making a folded book - here the physical constraints dictated the words.

I don't seem to be able to work out a way of setting up a template to do multiples (the nature of the folding means different angles for the pages). The only solution will be to do one-sided prints and then cut and glue. Unless, that is, anyone can suggest an alternative?
